MONTREAL, Jan. 23 /CNW Telbec/ - For the eighth year in a row, the Casino
de Montréal's Nuances Restaurant has been honoured with the CAA/AAA automobile
associations' prestigious Five Diamond rating. This coveted distinction is of
particular significance this year for the Nuances, which saw its décor undergo
a complete makeover at the start of 2007. In fact, the outstanding level of
motivation of its team and its new directions merited the dining room an even
higher grade than last year.
In order to underline this illustrious honour, the Nuances team has
decided to symbolically share its Five Diamonds by donating $5,000 to each of
eight Foundations that it has selected.
In so doing, the Nuances will be presenting a cheque at a special dinner
to be served this evening to the Institut de Tourisme et d'Hôtellerie du
Québec Foundation, the Montréal Heart Institute Foundation, the Québec
Foundation for the Blind, the Care Canada Foundation, the Québec Breast Cancer
Foundation, as well as to the Foundations of the Regroupement pour la Trisomie
21, Maison Martin Matte and Le Chaînon respectively. With the Presidents and
spokespersons of these Foundations to be on hand, the President and Chief
Executive Officer of CAA Québec, Mr. Paul A. Pelletier, will also be
presenting the official Five Diamond plate to François Hanchay, Food and
Beverage Manager at the Casino de Montréal.
In operation since the opening of the Montréal gaming house in October
1993, the Nuances has since been offering patrons the finest in gourmet
cuisine prepared with the freshest and highest quality local ingredients.
Moreover, the dining room's exceptional wine list includes a selection of
imported private label grand vintages and is designed to allow for wonderful
pairing with its gastronomical delights. The recipient of numerous national
and international awards, the Nuances is also understandably a choice location
for holding many major local events.
