Noveko International Inc. announces changes to its management in the context of its international developments

    MONTREAL, March 28 /CNW Telbec/ - Noveko International Inc. ("Noveko" or
"the Company") announces several changes to the Company's management in the
context of its international developments and in anticipation of its future
growth. Following the acquisition of the subsidiaries ECM in 2004 and BLI in
2006 and the strategic shift initiated last year, Noveko expanded and
strengthened its bases while positioning itself to take advantage of major
opportunities in its three sectors, specifically industrial, biomedical and

Chief Executive Officer of Noveko International Inc.
    Alain Bolduc, formerly Vice-President, Business Development and
Industrial Division of Noveko and President of the subsidiary BLI, is promoted
to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer of Noveko
International Inc.
    Gaston Lavallée joins Noveko International Inc.'s team as Vice-President,
Business Development. Mr. Lavallée has a long, diversified experience in
several management positions in sales and business development, acquired
notably with various financial services companies.
    André Leroux said "I am pleased with this sharing of responsibilities and
decision-making with Alain Bolduc. The announced changes, as approved by the
Board of Directors, reflect Noveko's new scope and will strengthen the group's
leadership, management and business development functions. Our subsidiaries
are involved in several major projects in our three sectors and focused on
developing international markets. For instance, using our new patented
antimicrobial filtration technology, we have started to produce and market our
antimicrobial face masks in collaboration with key U.S. and Asian partners. To
that effect, Dr. Konstantin Goranov, Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, joined our
team as Chief Technical Officer of the subsidiary Noveko Inc. in February

    Noveko International Inc. currently has three subsidiaries: S.A.S. ECM
(France), Noveko Inc. and Bolduc Leroux Inc. (BLI). ECM specializes in the
design and marketing of portable real-time ultrasound scanners for use in
veterinary and human medicine. Noveko Inc. develops the Company's biomedical
and environmental business, specifically its patented antimicrobial filtration
technology and derivative products (antimicrobial face masks and filters). For
its part, BLI specializes in the custom processing and distribution of steel
products based on client specifications and designs. It has also developed and
markets a line of downdraft particle extraction tables for various industrial,
commercial and pharmaceutical markets. Operating since September 2002, the
Company was listed on the TSX Venture Exchange on February 3, 2004.
