CALGARY, April 24 /CNW/ - The Investment Dealers Association of Canada
(IDA) announced today that a hearing will be held before a Hearing Panel,
appointed pursuant to IDA By-law 20, in respect of matters for which Pamela
Ann Breyer may be disciplined.
The hearing relates to allegations that, during November 2004 to March
2005, Ms. Breyer, an Investment Representative with the Water Mark Tower
branch of CIBC World Markets Inc. (CIBC), in Calgary, Alberta, signed the
signatures of three other CIBC registrants on various client account
documentation, thereby engaging in conduct unbecoming or detrimental to the
public interest, contrary to By-law 29.1.
Ms. Breyer has not been registered with an IDA Member firm since
April 28, 2005.
The hearing is scheduled to commence at 10:00 am on Tuesday,
September 18, 2007, at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre, 120-9th Avenue SE,
in Exhibition Hall B2, Calgary, Alberta. The hearing is open to the public
except as may be required for the protection of confidential matters. Copies
of the decision of the Hearing Panel will be made available.
