MONTREAL, April 23 /CNW/ - The Investment Dealers Association of Canada
(IDA) announced today that a hearing will be held before a Hearing Panel
appointed pursuant to By-law 20, in respect of matters for which Marc Beaudoin
may be disciplined. Until his resignation on January 30, 2006, Mr. Beaudoin
was a registered representative of Research Capital Corporation, a Member of
the IDA. Mr. Beaudoin is no longer a registrant with an IDA Member firm.
The hearing will relate to allegations that, on January 25, 2007, Mr.
Beaudoin violated IDA By-law 19.5 by refusing to appear and give information
before the persons conducting the investigation.
The hearing is scheduled to commence at 10 a.m. on Tuesday May 8, 2007,
at La Maison du Barreau, 445 St-Laurent Boulevard, Montréal, Québec, Room 355.
The hearing is open to the public except as may be required for the protection
of confidential matters. Copies of the decision of the Hearing Panel will be
