Northern announces acquisition of additional equity interest in African Aura

    TORONTO, Feb. 27 /CNW/ - Northern Financial Corporation ("Northern")
(TSX: NFC) announced that it acquired today an additional 10,000 common shares
of African Aura Resources Ltd. ("African Aura"; TSX-V: AAZ) representing
approximately 0.015% of the total issued common shares of African Aura. The
African Aura shares were acquired on the TSX Venture Exchange for investment
purposes at a price of $0.08 per share. Combined with the African Aura common
shares previously owned, Northern now owns a total of 6,836,100 common shares,
representing approximately 10.15% of the total issued common shares of African
