North York General Hospital Wins 2008 Canadian Healthcare Excellence in Quality Award (CHEQA)

    NYGH will receive $15,000 for its winning entry focusing on improving the
    overall patient experience

    TORONTO, Oct. 24 /CNW/ - rL Solutions, the leading provider of healthcare

(NYGH) is the winner of the 2008 Canadian Healthcare Excellence in Quality
Award (CHEQA).
    The winning entry, entitled Patient Flow: Improving the Overall Patience
Experience, focused on improving patient flow and access to care across four
areas: within the Emergency Department, between the Emergency Department and
General Internal Medicine, within General Internal Medicine and in partnership
with its Community Care Access Centre.
    Selected from among 5 finalists, NYGH will be rewarded $15,000 at a
ceremony taking place at the Canadian Healthcare Symposium 8 in Winnipeg, MN,
on Friday, October 24th.
