Nokia joins forces with 7-Eleven and Petro-Canada to debut Nokia 2760 mobile phone in Canada

Feature-packed and compact, the Nokia 2760 allows consumers to unfold
    style that is truly theirs

TORONTO, Nov. 6 /CNW/ - Nokia today announced the Canadian launch of the
Nokia 2760 mobile phone. The handset will be available through the retail
locations of the two Canadian Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) -
7-Eleven and Petro-Canada- and is designed to make life fun by allowing
consumers to connect in new ways and helping them be more productive.
Featuring a sleek, compact fold-design and a fully customizable menu, the
handset's slew of features including Bluetooth(R) technology, a VGA camera
with 4 X zoom and FM radio, can be conveniently accessed. Navigating the
personalized menus, users can take pictures or record videos and send them to
friends via Bluetooth(R) technology, listen to music and news via the FM radio
while on-the-go, and communicate with friends and colleagues via the Nokia
Xpress Audio and Multimedia messaging functions.
Encompassing the world's most familiar mobile phone user interface, the
handset is also easy to use. Users can move quickly between different
functions and can easily switch between snapping a picture in the VGA camera
mode, sending a text message, checking availability in the calendar, or even
looking up a contact in the phone book.
The Nokia 2760 allows users to stay in touch, up-to-date and be
entertained from anywhere and everywhere. Small enough to fit in any pocket or
purse, it also houses a variety of additional features, including:

      - 65,000 colour display that allows for easy viewing of games,
          pictures or videos
      - Data transfer via Nokia PC Suite
      - Phonebook with room for up to 1,000 contacts
      - Pre-installed applications such as a calendar, to-do list, alarm
          clock and Java-based calculator
      - Customizable menu, ringtones and wallpapers

"With the Canadian launch of the Nokia 2760 mobile phone, Canadian
consumers now have access to a stylish handset that is easy to use and
incorporates the features they want most," said Dave Bergeron, Director New
Channel Development, Nokia Canada. "Thanks to MVNOs such as 7-Eleven and
