TORONTO, Feb. 19 /CNW/ - NWM Mining Corporation 'NWM' (TSX-V: COL) is
pleased to announce publication of an NI 43-101 compliant technical report for
the Sierra Pinta past producing underground gold mine located in the northern
part of the State of Sonora, Mexico.
The mine last operated in the 1950's and old workings extend along two
high grade gold bearing Veins identified as the Dolores and La Pinta Veins.
The Dolores Vein is a faulted offset of the La Pinta Vein. The report states
that "Both of these Veins are open and have excellent potential to host
additional mineralization down-dip. Additional exploration potential exists to
the west of the known Dolores Vein and to the east of the La Pinta Vein."
The report provides that laboratory tests have outlined very favourable
overall gold recovery characteristics for Vein material, stating "Laboratory
scale tests on three samples using a combination of processing through a
Knelson Concentrator followed by cyanide leaching of the resulting tails
returned overall total gold recovery of 98.0% to 99.6%. Three bulk samples
were found to have head grades of 42.8, 27.3 and 24.7 g/t Au."

A summary of both Channel and Panel sample tests from the report include:

Summary of Assay Values from Initial Sampling

Sample Type Average Width Weighted Average Range of Values
                         (m) (g/t Au) (g/t Au)

"The grade and recovery characteristics for Vein material from the past
producing underground gold mine at Sierra Pinta are very favourable. The
report suggests that this is a highly prospective gold bearing property which
is in geologic proximity to the Herradura mine and the new Dipolos and Solidad
discoveries," said Chris Berlet, CEO of NWM Mining Corporation.
The NI 43-101 report recommends a two phased development approach. The
recommendations include underground diamond drilling as well as development
mining and further sampling in progression of a feasibility study to support
mining operations on the property.
