News Advisory - Reaction to Keystone pipeline decision

OTTAWA, Sept. 19 /CNW Telbec/ - Dave Coles, President of the
Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada will be available to
do media interviews on the National Energy Board's decision about the
construction of the Keystone pipeline. The NEB will release its ruling
Thursday, Sept. 20, in Calgary, at 2:30 pm Mountain Time.
CEP has argued before the National Energy Board that the pipeline project
is a bad deal for Canadians as it would exclusively serve U.S. interests, cost
18,000 new jobs, and reduce energy security in Canada.
The proposed pipeline would carry unprocessed bitumen from the Alberta
oil sands to Southern Illinois.
