    Service Benefits

    CHICAGO, Oct. 1 /CNW/ -- WiMAX World 2008 -- Fujitsu Microelectronics
America, Inc. (FMA), a global leader in WiMAX-compliant broadband wireless
technology, today released a new white paper on WiMAX system development and
implementation. Entitled "Achieving Cost-Effective Broadband Coverage with
WiMAX Micro, Pico and Femto Base Stations," the new white paper profiles the

locations in urban areas to isolated rural locations.
Various opportunities for expanded broadband wireless service based on
the WIMAX standard are described, with a specific focus on the benefits of
femto, pico and micro base stations. The white paper also details the new
Fujitsu Microelectronics WiMAX SoC product offerings that are designed
specifically to address the requirements of these emerging markets.
