New Web Site Helps Make the Lives of Brides Easier

Online marriage name change service launches in Canada

VANCOUVER, Feb. 4 /CNW/ - Today announces the launch of a new Web site
which promises to help make the lives of new brides easier. I'm A Mrs.,, is an online Canadian marriage name change service that
provides all of the forms, instructions and personalized letters new brides
need when they embark on their official name change. By visiting, women can save hours - even days - in the name change process.
The Web site is the first of its kind and was born of the frustration new
brides face when looking to legally change their name. Rather than venture to
a government office for forms, and then search and call various other
organizations, I'm a Mrs. takes care of all of the above in one easy stop. The
site offers two packages. The Standard package which includes access to all of
the necessary government forms, as well as access to three additional forms of
your choice from our database. The other option is the Premium package which
includes access to all forms in the database including government, banks,
credit cards, utility companies, and mortgage companies.
"Planning a wedding can be a very stressful time, and once the wedding
and honeymoon are over, we want to ensure that all women need to stress over
is getting their thank you cards out the door," says Claire Lamont,
co-founder, I'm A Mrs. "In chatting with new brides, we found one of their
biggest frustrations was the name change process, so I'm A Mrs. was started to
help alleviate that pain." prides itself as a one-stop shop for Canadian name change
and in addition to the standard forms available, customers can also choose
forms from various department stores and loyalty programs such as Aeroplan and
Shoppers Optimum. The site staff will develop forms upon request, and if there
is a particular form not found on the site, I'm A Mrs. will procure it within
48 hours. Changing your name has never been so quick and easy.
"After the wedding I had my name changed for a few official documents
like my social insurance number and financial statements," says the recently
married Marzena Ingram. "But to be honest, there are still about a dozen
places that still have my maiden name on their records - I just don't have the
time to make all of those changes. A gift card for I'm A Mrs. would have made
my life a whole lot easier."
