The Village Olive Grove opens its doors, April 11th, 2009, in Elora,
ELORA, ON, April 7 /CNW/ - The Village Olive Grove, located in the
historic Mill Street shopping district in the heart of picturesque Elora, will
open its doors on Saturday, April 11th, 2009 at 10 a.m.
The Village Olive Grove will offer a full line of exceptional extra
virgin olive oils and vinegars from 10 countries around the world including
the much sought after hand crafted ice wine vinegar and Verjus produced from
the Niagara wine region of Ontario. In addition, related olive oil products
including imported oil can drizzlers, artisan cruets and pottery, dipping
plates, books and olive pitters are available.
Customers are invited to a unique shopping experience where each product
is available for tasting before purchasing. The philosophy of the proprietors
is to take the mystique away from the use of extra virgin olive oils and
vinegars through education and sampling at the shop's tasting bar.
Overlooking a spectacular view of the Grand River, a larger tasting room
is located at the back of the century old building, where group workshops and
guest experts will educate customers to the fine art of tasting and cooking
with oils, vinegars and verjus'.
