New French Musical Production for Zorro

    MONTREAL and PARIS and LA LOUVIERE, Belgique, Jan. 5 /CNW Telbec/ - A new
rock opera drawn from the original ZORRO story is in the final stage of
    Firm and final agreements were signed by the producers: THIERRY SFORZA -
recognized French lyricist and VITO LUPRANO - executive producer of CELINE
DION with the holder of the world rights to the work of ZORRO
    Direction of this new musical production has been entrusted to FRANCO
DRAGONE, renowned creator of such extravaganzas as "O" and Céline Dion's "A
New Day" in Las Vegas. Dragone chose LORENT WANSON - reputable Belgian
director and author to reinforce the team of creation with Sforza as
lyricist-librettist and Luprano as musical director.
    This extraordinarily talented and experienced team promises to reinvent
this classic into a compelling contemporary musical adventure. As such this
production is completely unrelated to one currently playing in London.
    Release is scheduled for 2010 in Montreal and Paris.
    This announcement should put to rest any false Parisian rumors
surrounding this coveted project.
