WIND Mobile's Best Conversation Ever enters final week, five Canadians closer than ever to having the conversation of their dreams

TORONTO, Feb. 28 /CNW/ - If Canadians could talk to anyone in the world who would it be?  That's the question WIND Mobile has been asking for the last few weeks in the first-ever Best Conversation Ever program.  With less than two weeks to go, the most popular picks so far are Canadian pop sensation, Justin Bieber, talk show queen, Oprah, and US president, Barack Obama.

The other personalities in the top 10 include: singer Taylor Swift, hockey star Sidney Crosby, anthropologist Jane Goodall, the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

The unique competition, which launched on January 24th will give five Canadians the opportunity to talk to anyone in the world they want.  To make the conversations happen, WIND Mobile will donate more than half a million dollars to Canadian charities including $100,000 on behalf of each personality in exchange for having the conversations.  In addition, the site invites Canadian charities to enter the Charity Challenge to win an additional $100,000 based on popular online voting.

The winners of the competition will not necessarily be the most popular choices. Instead, the winners will be picked from the entries with the most votes - from the people that took the time to share their story and gather support online. To date, the entries with the most votes include compelling submissions for a wide range of personalities. These range from a die-hard Toronto Blue Jays fan who would love to talk to its GM Alex Anthopoulos, to music fans dying to talk to lead singers of bands including Hedley or Disturbed, to a school teacher who would like entrepreneur Brett Wilson to share his wisdom with his class.

The winners will be announced shortly after the competition closes on March 7th.  To enter, Canadians can visit
