Naturally Advanced Technologies announces the extension of its sales partnership into COSTCO USA.

    PORTLAND, OR, Aug. 18 /CNW/ - Naturally Advanced Technologies Inc.
(OTCBB: NADVF), today announced the signing of a new Special Event
distribution agreement with COSTCO USA, through its wholly-owned subsidiary,
HTnaturals Apparel Corp.
    Under the terms of the agreement, HTnaturals is recognized as an Approved
Vendor for Costco USA and will be commencing a series of road show events
beginning in Q4 2008 at select COSTCO USA locations. These events will
showcase HTnaturals environmentally sustainable hemp, bamboo, organic cotton
and soy blended apparel.

Corporation has decided to extend the program into its US-based stores.
