Murray SawChuck to co-star on Celebracadabra

VANCOUVER, July 18 /CNW/ - Internationally acclaimed Canadian illusionist
Murray SawChuck is co-starring in MuchMoreMusic's popular summer reality
series Celebracadabra. Seven TV and movie celebrities are competing for a
prize of $100,000 as they attempt to learn and perform the kind of magic
normally left to the professionals.
Each celebrity is paired with their magic coach and Murray is teamed with
the beautiful and sexy Kimberly Wyatt from the Pussycat Dolls. In each
episode, Murray and his fellow magicians provide a chance of a lifetime to
their celebrity partners while teaching them different genres of magic from
sleight-of-hand and comedy magic to large-scale illusions. The celebrities
face tough crowds and a panel of judges which eliminates one pair every week
enroute to the big pay-off and the title of "Best Celebrity Magician."
Celebracadabra was filmed on location throughout Hollywood, at the
world-famous Magic Castle nightclub, and in Las Vegas. Murray SawChuck is the
only Canadian in this entertaining TV series.
The Vancouver-born entertainer has exploded onto the entertainment scene
with the charisma, personality, and talent of a natural born star. A
world-champion magician with over 24 awards, Murray stands out with his
signature electric blonde hair, black framed Armani glasses, and his
contagious smile. He designed a unique signature act with compact discs which
took him around the world and to many international TV appearances before he
landed on the Las Vegas strip as one of its youngest headliners.
Murray played the MGM Grand Hotels, The Flamingo, The Frontier, and
Planet Hollywood among others. After being voted Playgirl Magazine's Hot Guy
of The Month, he attracted the attention of the TV execs and was offered
hosting opportunities on Vegas Entertainment Network and shows like Blind
Date. This led to his first guest role on Comedy Central's Reno 911.
Murray continues to perform globally as well as enjoying acting and
hosting celebrity TV interviews. He has a role in the War of the Worlds
upcoming motion picture sequel which will be released in 2009. Murray's
parents, who still live in Burnaby, BC, did not imagine that the Siegfried and
Roy magic kit they gave him as a child would have such an impact on his young
life. He began to study magic with a great passion and grew into an
international star living his dream in Las Vegas.
