Murray Brook Deposit Historical Resources
The Murray Brook polymetallic massive sulphide deposit is located in the
northern part of the world-renown Bathurst mining camp, Province of
New Brunswick, Canada. The precious and base metal mineralizations were
discovered in 1959 and subsequent exploration work delineated a precious metal
rich gossan on surface and a large polymetallic massive sulphide envelope at
depth. In 1998, after a diamond-drilling program, an historical resources
calculation was performed by NovaGold using all drilling data available. Data
were digitalized and a semi-massive to massive envelope was delineated. The
Mineralized Zone was estimated at 20.2 million tonnes averaging 0.29 % Cu,
0.57% Pb, 1.32 % Zn, 0.32 g/t Au and 25.2 g/t Ag.
