Much Satisfies O.C. Craving with Five-hour Marathon



    All four seasons air weekdays at 7pm ET beginning August 20th

    TORONTO, Aug. 2 /CNW/ - MuchMusic gives hardcore fans of The O.C. an
excuse to relive the series from the beginning and to gorge on a five-episode
marathon, beginning at 2pm ET on August 18th.
    Grab some Chinese takeout and bagels, dawn a muscle tank or micro-mini,
beef up on your comic book and anime trivia, and gather the adorkable, the
gossip-obsessed, the brooding, and the young, tortured souls among your
friends for a five-hour feast of irony and pop culture references. Fans can
also keep the party going with four back-to-back seasons of teen angst,
tumultuous relationships, scandals, arrests, shootings, and hoodies - weekdays
at 7pm ET, beginning August 20th. Tune in daily for a double dose of the
previous night's episode at 4pm ET.
    The O.C. catapulted Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, Adam Brody, Benjamin
MacKenzie, and creator Josh Schwartz into young Hollywood elite. It was a
ratings and critical smash and a barometer of hot, up-and-coming indie rock
bands. The O.C. became a pop culture reference itself gaining a cultish
following despite its tragic and early demise.
