Montréal welcomes the 17th Scientific Meeting of the IBMS (International Bone and Mineral Society) from June 24 to 29

    MONTREAL, June 7 /CNW Telbec/ - From June 24 to 29, Montréal will be host
city of the 17th Scientific Meeting of the IBMS (International Bone and
Mineral Society), which will be held at the Palais des congrès. More than
1,500 delegates and 60 exhibitors will be in Montréal for the occasion to take
part in six days of workshops, conferences and plenary sessions designed to
enhance knowledge of bone and mineralized tissue as well as treatment of
metabolic bone diseases.

    The IBMS is an international organization whose mission is to provide its
members, comprised of some 2,500 researchers and clinicians from more than 64
countries, with the communication and training tools required for their
profession. The organization also develops teaching and research programs to
promote the understanding of and treatment options for metabolic bone
