Monroe Capital Provides Financing to Golden Gate Capital and Circle Peak Capital for the Acquisition of Rocket Dog

    CHICAGO, March 8 /CNW/ - Monroe Capital LLC announced its role as
Co-Syndication Agent in a new $80 million senior secured credit facility in
connection with the acquisition of Rocket Dog by Golden Gate Capital and
Circle Peak Capital. Wachovia Bank, National Association acted as
Administrative Agent on the transaction.

    Rocket Dog is a leading global designer, developer and distributor of
footwear. Founded in 1993 and based in Hayward, CA, Rocket Dog's product
categories include active, boots, casual, dress and sandals/flats footwear
designed with a unique youthful style. Golden Gate Capital and Circle Peak are
backing Rocket Dog's President and Chief Executive Officer, Mike Womack, and
the existing management team who will continue to lead Rocket Dog.
