Mondetta uniforms create a stir at the 2007 Tim Hortons Brier


    HAMILTON, ON, March 10 /CNW/ - It will take nine days in Hamilton to
determine a new Canadian men's curling champion, but from the start of the
competition it was evident that Mondetta is making its mark in the sport of
    For the first time, Mondetta designed and produced performance apparel is
being worn by all of the curlers competing in the Tim Horton's Brier. The
reaction to the new designs has been excellent. Mondetta has been inundated
with calls and emails from curling fans across Canada who want to get their
hands on Mondetta curling apparel!
    It was at the 2006 Winter Olympics that Mondetta first made a splash in
the sport of curling, when Team Gushue won the Gold medal in the men's curling
wearing sleek red and white attire. Images of the Mondetta-clad team
celebrating were splashed across the international media. Soon after that, the
CCA and Mondetta agreed on extending the partnership to 2010, to outfit more
and more curlers with curling apparel as they compete for their sport's
highest honors. Mondetta will be supplying uniforms for Canadian curling
athletes in national and international championships over the next three
years, including the soon to be had World Championships in Edmonton next
