Mobile Satellite Ventures Appoints Ines LeBow Vice President, Next-Generation Services Programs

    RESTON, VA., June 28 /CNW/ - Mobile Satellite Ventures LP (MSV) announced
today that telecommunications program management executive Ines LeBow has
joined the company as vice president for Next-Generation Services Programs to
develop, integrate and execute the company's roll out of its next-generation

    MSV is developing an integrated satellite-terrestrial communications
network to provide ubiquitous wireless broadband services, including Internet
access and voice services, throughout the United States and Canada.

    A veteran of more than 25 years in the telecommunications industry, Ms.
LeBow has served in a wide variety of engineering and operations program
management and executive positions. Her career includes developing and
managing domestic and international programs for local and long distance voice
and data services, digital and fiber optics networks, and satellite and
terrestrial communications systems. She most recently served as senior vice
president of Engineering & Operations for Xspedius Communications.

    "Ines has vast experience in leading teams charged with designing and
establishing new global network management centers, building international
terrestrial and satellite infrastructures, and launching global
telecommunications services all of which are key to the continued development
of MSV's future generation services," said John Mattingly, president of
Satellite Services for MSV.

    Prior to her position at Xspedius Communications, Ms. LeBow was director
of Program and Project Management for GTE Spacenet, vice president, Network
Implementation for WorldCom, and executive vice president of Operations and
Engineering for Conversent Communications. Ms. LeBow earned a Bachelor of Arts
degree in Languages and Linguistics and holds two Masters degrees; one in
Language and Linguistics and another in Education and Administration from The
American University in Washington, D.C.
