Minister Takhar Holds Consultation In Mississauga

    Minister To Hear From Small And Medium-Sized Business Community

    MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 14 /CNW/ - Minister of Small Business and
Entrepreneurship Harinder Takhar held a regional roundtable discussion with
small and medium-sized business leaders from across the Greater Toronto Area
(GTA) in Mississauga today.
    "The GTA offers tremendous opportunities for entrepreneurs and small
business owners," said Takhar. "These roundtable discussions are an
opportunity to hear first hand about the challenges facing the business
community and share ideas and solutions for the future."
    Today's roundtable discussion is part of a tour across the province. The
discussions from each consultation will help the Ministry of Small Business
and Entrepreneurship set priorities.
    Minister Takhar will also hold roundtables in Ottawa, Sudbury and
    "Each of the economic regions of Ontario face diverse challenges and
offer unique advantages," said Takhar. "Today's roundtable discussion is
another example of the McGuinty government working with local business
communities to address their concerns and ensure that Ontario remains a great
place to do business."
