"We believe that our technology-focused approach will be attractive, especially given the recent market conditions affecting the forestry industry in North America, and particularly here in British Columbia," said MiCROTEC North America CEO Federico Giudiceandrea. "There is a huge potential in North America for the implementation of MiCROTEC's proprietary electronic solutions and measurement systems, such as optical scanners that maximize yield and efficiency, in collaboration with a team experienced in the industry." In addition to product and equipment, the operation will offer comprehensive product consulting, as well as, full service and support for the technology. The MiCROTEC North America team consists of 15 members who have extensive industry experience.
