MONTREAL, March 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Today, MG Production (France) is
announcing the Canadian launch of its Internet editing solution, Edition
Manager, through a network of official distributors.
Edition Manager allows for a reduction in time to press - a major concern
for printers. With just a computer connected to the Internet anywhere in the
world, users can - in real time - change text, image and fonts and see WYSIWIG
(what you see is what you get) results. The saved file can then be sent to RIP
in order to produce the necessary plates or films for printing.
"After more than 4 years in development, Edition Manager has proved
itself in European markets, particularly with the PSA Group. The software
allowed all European PSA agencies to edit, modify, translate and validate
commercial brochures for Peugeot and Citroen model automobiles," said Philippe
Traveilly, President and CEO of MG Production Paris.
"Our decision to use distributors to serve the Canadian market is based
primarily on their high degree of technical qualifications, and their capacity
to deliver their solutions and ours in a very professional project management
environment," Philippe Traveilly added.
Edition Manager is currently available in 2 main configurations: Package
Edition Manager + QuarkXpress Server 7, as well as Edition Manager in SaaS
MG Production will be at the Salon Grafik'Art, to be held at Montreal's
Place Bonaventure, on April 19, 20 and 21, 2007: www.grafikart.ebems.com
As well as at the Salon Stratégies-communications-marketing at Montreal's
Place Bonaventure, on May 30 and 31, 2007: www.marketing-expo.com
