MetroBridge Hires Industry Veteran as VP of Operations

    VANCOUVER, Sept. 18 /CNW/ - MetroBridge Networks International Inc.
(TSX-V: MEB) a premier high-speed wireless broadband provider for business
with operations in Canada and the United States, is pleased to announce that
it has hired Mr. Thorsten Gutsche as Vice President of Operations.
    Thorsten brings to MetroBridge deep telecommunications experience, having
been in the industry for thirteen years. Before joining MetroBridge, Thorsten
was Director of Operations for Teraspan Networks Inc. a Vancouver-based
supplier of last-mile fiber optic solutions. He was also Director of
Operations for FatPort Corporation in Vancouver, an operator of public
Wireless (Wi-Fi) Hotspots in Canada. Previously, he worked in various
management positions at Colt Telecom in Germany, a British company
specialising in high-quality voice, data and Internet services for businesses
throughout Europe. His prior experience with those organizations includes
managing geographically disparate departments, managing local and central
operations, establishing network control centers, improving customer care and
network planning.

    Additionally, MetroBridge has taken the following actions:
    Granted 75,000 incentive stock options to Geoff Hamilton, VP, Corporate
Development, exercisable at $0.60.
    Issued Grignan Holdings Ltd. 40,000 common share purchase warrants priced
at $0.60 which expire July 29th, 2009, and paid $24,000 as a finder's fee in
connection with capital raising.
