Mercier Bridge southbound truck traffic restricted - Southbound trucks restricted to the right lane

LONGUEUIL, QC, Oct. 28 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain
Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ)
wish to inform the public, and mainly truck drivers, that the southbound left
lane (towards Châteauguay) on the Honoré-Mercier Bridge will be closed to
trucks, while the right lane will be re-opened to heavy vehicles.
As part of repairs to the connection plates, the banning of trucks from
the left lane will allow work on the bridge structure to continue.
As a reminder, trucks have not had access to the northbound right lane
(towards Montreal) since October 10. Just like today's announcement,
restrictions on northbound trucks from the right lane to the left lane should
occur soon.
