Mercier Bridge - Overnight Work from June 17 to 18 - Closure of Ramp 2- Access Ramp from La Prairie

LONGUEUIL, QC, June 17 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain
Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ)
wish to inform the public of the closure of the access ramp from La Prairie as
from 7 P.M. on Wednesday June 17 until 5 A.M. on Thursday June 18.
Road signs will inform motorists of the detour route to be used overnight
from Wednesday to Thursday. Motorists coming from La Prairie will take the
ramp connecting Route 132 to Route 138. The Route 207 exit (chemin
Saint-Isidore) will allow them to get back on Route 138 in the opposite
direction, and access the bridge using the access ramp from Châteauguay.
This preparatory work will enable the paving of the second lane of the
access ramp from La Prairie following the relocation of the traffic booth,
which manages traffic at the bridge entrance.
