Industry through Strategic Partnerships and Market Recognition

NEW YORK, September 12 /CNW/ - Medidata Solutions, a global leader in
electronic data capture (EDC), management and reporting solutions, today
announced the company's 26th quarter of consecutive growth. Medidata completed
the quarter with an 81.5 percent year over year revenue growth, signing 13 new
customers in the U.S., Europe and Japan and 15 follow-on contracts from

Nine of Medidata's 13 new customers this quarter were due to the success

resources. Additionally, 17 new trials were initiated through existing ASPire
to Win partners in the second quarter alone. During Q2, Medidata entered into
a new ASPire to Win partnership with Chiltern Ltd to implement Medidata Rave
to manage electronic clinical trial data for pharmaceutical and biotechnology
sponsors around the world.
