Medical Intelligence Concludes a Partnership with the Mutualité Française Côte-D'Or Yonne

Vega GPS bracelet trial within the Mutualité Française network

QUEBEC CITY, June 5 /CNW/ - Medical Intelligence Technologies Inc.
(TSX-V: MIZ), a pioneer in the mobile telesecurity industry and in the
application of information and telecommunications technologies in the
healthcare sector, is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership
agreement to test 100 Vega GPS Bracelets with the Mutualité Française
Côte-d'Or Yonne, the France-based mutual insurance company that offers
healthcare services to approximately half a million French citizens located in
the Bourgogne region.
In order to better reflect the new range of products, Medical
Intelligence recently re-examined its branding strategy and assigned new names
to product applications, repositioning itself with respect to its various
market segments. This way, the Vega GPS Bracelet corresponds to the improved
version of the second generation of the original Columba bracelet.
"In our opinion, the Vega from Medical Intelligence has now reached its
technological and useful maturity. Health professionals and public authorities
give it a positive evaluation. This allows us to add it to the dynamics of the
Alzheimer plan and the mission of the Mutualité to improve the care of its
patients," stated Mr. Michel Martin, President of the Mutualité Française
Côte-d'Or Yonne.
The Mutualité Française is the top healthcare network in France, acting
as the first line of health prevention and promotion after the public
authorities. It should be pointed out that the Mutualité Française not only
offers insurance services, but also provides healthcare services covering some
36 million French citizens and enabling them access to quality care, whatever
the situation. The Mutualité Française Côte-d'Or Yonne alone represents 125
mutuals that offer solutions adapted to the health needs and well-being of
close to half a million citizens of the Bourgogne region. The Vega offer,
then, becomes complementary to the existing offer from the Mutualité Française
Côte-d'Or Yonne.
"This partnership marks an important breakthrough into the world of
French mutual organizations for Medical Mobile, the French subsidiary of
Medical Intelligence. This first positive step within this new market opens
the door to numerous other business development prospects among the Mutualité
Française network. The trial results will be known by all the healthcare
players in France and will enable us to quickly deploy our range of products
in this vast market," asserted Mr. Philippe P. Huneault, President and CEO of
Medical Intelligence Technologies.
