Medical Intelligence announces filing of final short form prospectus


    QUEBEC CITY, QC, April 11 /CNW/ - Medical Intelligence Technologies Inc.
("Medical Intelligence" or the "Company") (TSX-V: MIZ) announces that it has
filed a final short form prospectus with the securities regulatory authorities
in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia with respect to a previously
announced public offering of units (the "Units") for gross proceeds to the
Company of a minimum of C$10 million and a maximum of C$15 million at $0.65
per Unit. Each Unit is comprised of one Common Share and one half Common Share
Subscription Warrant. Each whole Warrant will entitle its holder to subscribe
for one Common Share at a price of $0.85, at any time during the eighteen (18)
months following the Closing Date. The offering is being made through
Canaccord Adams. Closing of the offering is expected to occur on or about
April 18, 2007.
    In addition, Canaccord Adams has been granted an option (the
"Over-allotment Option") exercisable for additional Units, representing up to
15% of the Units issued under the Offering, for market stabilization and
over-allotment purposes. The Over-allotment Option may be exercised at any
time, in whole or in part, until the date which is 30 days following the
closing date. Medical Intelligence intends to use the proceeds of the offering
primarily for sales, marketing and business development initiatives, the
production of Columba units for sale, research and development and for working
