    Giant soft serve cake to be assembled in Ottawa on June 30

    OTTAWA, June 24 /CNW/ - On Tuesday, June 30 a team of 30 Dairy Queen soft
serve experts will build Canada's largest soft serve cake to celebrate our
nation's birthday. The massive DQ Cake will be unveiled for a photo
opportunity at Confederation Park. Slices will be served to the public with
donations benefitting the Children's Miracle Network.
    The colossal DQ Cake will be made up of 453 litres of soft serve, 264
pounds of chocolate crunch, 75 litres of cold fudge and weigh a whopping 1540
    Denise Hutton, Vice President of Marketing Dairy Queen Canada and Paul
Lethbridge Director, Corporate Development Children's Miracle Network will be
available for interviews.
