Media Notice - Canada's Key Union Leaders React to Council of the Federation's Meeting

    QUEBEC, July 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Tomorrow, presidents of Canada's labour
federations, currently meeting in Quebec, will issue a reaction to the Council
of the Federation's meeting regarding an interior trade agreement called for
by a powerful business lobby representing a broad range of industries.
    Michel Arsenault, president of the Fédération des travailleurs et
travailleuses du Québec (FTQ) will be the spokesperson for the assembly.

    Union leaders will meet with the media to issue a progress report on
Thursday, July 17 at 11:00 am at the Hotel Manoir Victoria (Saint-Louis
conference room).
