    About the IWSR studies

    For the seventh year, British firm IWSR was mandated by Vinexpo to
produce a detailed report on global consumption, production and international
exchanges in the wine and spirits industry, with an outlook to 2012. The study
was conducted in 28 wine-producing countries and on 114 wine and spirit
consumer markets. The analysis period extends from 2003 to 2012.
    Since 1971, the IWSR database provides the most detailed and precise
information on the global alcoholic beverage market.
