Media invitation - Launch of Activities Marking the International Year of Astronomy at the Montréal Planetarium

    MONTREAL, Jan. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - The Montréal Planetarium cordially
invites media representatives to learn about its program of activities in
honour of the 400th anniversary of the Galileo's first observation, today at
5:30 p.m.
    You will have the opportunity to observe the starry sky along with
astronomers(*) and to visit an exhibition on the history of astronomy. There
will be music, too, as singer Claire Pelletier will entrance everyone with her
song "Galileo." Lastly, you're sure to be charmed by the melodies for lute
composed by Galileo's father and brother and performed by Daniel Blanchet.
    And on this exceptional evening, Galileo himself will make an appearance!
