    WINNIPEG, July 8 /CNW/ -

    WHAT:     Alison Gereta (9) joins hundreds of kids from across the
              country this summer by "taking a stand" for a cause she cares
              about thanks to support from Sunkist Growers.

              Encouraging future philanthropists and entrepreneurs, Sunkist's
              "Take a Stand" program squeezes some fun into summer by giving
              kids the tools to support a charity of their choice by selling
              freshly-squeezed Sunkist lemonade.

              Alison pledged online at to sell
              freshly-squeezed lemonade to benefit the Heart and Stroke
              Foundation as a way to honour her father who passed away.
              Alison's family and friends have offered to help her as she
              raises funds for this cause throughout the summer. With her
              lemonade stand, Alison will be able to make a difference one
              glass at a time.
