Media Alert - Kraft Hockeyville 2007 Winner to Host NHL Pre-Season Game North Bay, September 17, 2007

    NORTH BAY, ON, Sept. 12 /CNW/ - North Bay, Ontario is about to make
history. Chosen the winner of the Kraft Hockeyville 2007 competition for its
passion for hockey and its community spirit, North Bay will host a NHL
pre-season game between the Atlanta Thrashers and the New York Islanders on
September 17, 2007 at Memorial Gardens Arena at 7 p.m. North Bay, a true
hockey community, beat out communities across Canada to be named Kraft
Hockeyville 2007, last spring. Since then, the North Bay Hockeyville Committee
has been planning to make this event one of the best hockey celebrations North
Bay has ever experienced.
    The North Bay community, Kraft Canada, CBC Television, the National
Hockey League Players' Association and the National Hockey League are pleased
to invite you to attend two days of fantastic events including a public
viewing of the Stanley Cup, autograph signing sessions with NHL Alumni, hockey
clinics, and the big game!
    Community events will take place on Sunday, September 16 and Monday,
September 17, 2007 and culminate with the game on Monday evening at 7 p.m.
(see schedule). The game will be broadcast on TV Cogeco North Bay and also
streamed live at Kraft Hockeyville 2007 will be featured in a
CBC Television special to air on Friday, September 21 at 9 p.m.
