Media Advisory/Photo/Interview Opp - Toronto's most colourful and entertaining walk celebrates its 20th year

     The Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life brings politicians, drag queens,
      celebrities and participants together for a walk like none other

    TORONTO, Sept. 8 /CNW/ - Toronto is once again taking the fight against
HIV/AIDS to the streets and this year is celebrating its 20th anniversary of
the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life Toronto - a charity walk and street party
featuring a host of political leaders, celebrities and participants who will
raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and raise more than $375,000 for the AIDS
Committee of Toronto (ACT).
    Thousands of local walkers and supporters will meet at the Church/Carlton
Street starting line to participate in a walk like none other, then groove on
into the evening at the Pantages Spa Community Fair and Molson Beer Garden to
the 16-piece Boogie Wonder Band and DJ Summation as they perform on the Church
Street stage. With huge prizes, elaborate costumes, large teams and a
jam-packed afternoon, the Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life Toronto will certainly
be the most colourful and most entertaining walk of the year.

Canada's largest AIDS walk. The Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life Toronto raises
