    WHAT:  WEDDING CEREMONY beats to a different drum during electrifying
           opening of the Muhtadi International Drumming Festival. They met
           seven years ago at the Muhtadi Drumming Festival; he, a musician
           and drummer, she, an engineer, and together, Njacko and Valery
           will celebrate their nuptials on stage during the Festival's
           opening launch where they first met. Saturday kicks off the
           Muhtadi International Drumming Festival's weekend-long celebration
           of music uniting drummers, dancers and performers and artisans
           from over 20 cultures.

    WHAT:  Summer of Love Festival brings Yorkville back to the "Swinging
           For one day only, Summer of Love transforms the Yorkville
           neighbourhood back to its creative and bohemian roots as a boho
           mecca that once rivalled San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury and New
           York's Greenwich Village.

           Love is in the Hair. Matrix hairstylists will be on hand to take
           hairstyles back to the 60's by putting a flower in your hair,
           bringing in over 1,000 daisies.

           Best '60s Flower Child Makeover Contest with Marilyn Brooks (the
           Mary Quant of Toronto fashion) as a judge.

           The Concert Stage - Yorkville Park's concert stage will feature
           major acts performing popular '60s music: Shawne and Jay Jackson
           with the Majestics (4:30 p.m.), John Finley and the Checkmates
           (2:30 p.m.), Luke and the Apostles and Kensington Market
           (1:30 p.m.), the Sunshine Band & Sons (3:30 p.m.), and the
           headline act - Sylvia Tyson and her award-winning band Quartette
           (5:30 p.m.).

    ROM's Michael Lee-Chin Crystal Unveiled Tonight. For months, Torontonians
    have watched, waited and wondered as the Royal Ontario Museum underwent a
    dazzling transformation, and tonight, the dazzling Daniel Libeskind-
    designed building is unveiled as part of Luminato's Opening Weekend
    Festivities. FREE public admission all night.
