                       for international sporting event

TORONTO, April 1 /CNW/ - Legendary comedian Jackie Mason is coming to
Toronto on April 2 to headline the 2009 Maccabiah Games Gala. The evening will
also feature a state of the market address by Ned Goodman, founder of the
Dundee Group of Companies, with a likely appropriate rebuttal from Mason.
The event will help to raise funds to send Maccabi Canada's largest ever
delegation of 450 athletes and 75 coaches, medical and support staff to Israel
for the 18th Maccabiah Games this summer.
The Maccabiah Games is the third largest sporting event in the world.
More than 8000 Jewish athletes from all over the world assemble to compete in
over 30 different sports. This year will be the 18th time Israel has hosted
the games and the 15th time Canada has participated.
