What: GO Transit is hosting its annual KidSummer day tomorrow. The
day will begin at Union Station where kids will be greeted
by cuddly mascot GO Bear, and can explore the GO miniature
safety village. Then it's a free train ride to Exhibition
station where GO staff will give an interactive rail safety
presentation. The kids will then get to explore a GO Transit
bus, will be treated to lunch courtesy of Bombardier
Transportation, and will enjoy some fun outdoor activities.
When: Thursday, August 9, 2007
10:00 a.m. to noon
Registration at Union Station 10:00 a.m.
Event moves to Exhibition station on the 10:43 a.m.
Lakeshore West train
Where: The party begins at Union Station in the GO concourse,
inside the entrance at 140 Bay St., just south of Front St.
in downtown Toronto. The train boards at 10:30 a.m., and
then the event will move to Exhibition station, on the south
side of the tracks.
A regularly scheduled GO Train will transport participants
from Union Station to Exhibition.

Union Station for 10:00 a.m.

Background: KidSummer is Today's Parent magazine's summer event series
giving Toronto-area families a behind-the-scenes look at
local businesses and attractions. GO Transit has been
proudly hosting its KidSummer event for over 12 years.
