Canadian trade show for the natural health and organics sector. Over 500
exhibiting companies will be displaying the latest products in the areas of

products; sports nutrition; supplements and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

WHY: Consumer confidence in the natural health products and organics
industry has increased. Seven in 10 Canadians have used natural health
products (NHPs) with the intention of maintaining and promoting personal
health as reported by Health Canada in a benchmark survey of NHPs in
A conservative projection of natural health products would see retail
sales at C$2.75 billion or more by 2010, according to a study by Leverus
(September 2005). Already retail sales of certified organic food in Canada
have tipped more than $1 billion in 2006, according to a report commissioned
by the Organic Agriculture Centre of Canada (May 2007). According to data
provided by ACNielsen, large natural food store chains and independent health
food stores accounted for approximately one third of the $1 billion in sales.
