    Miracle Treat Day Blizzard sales support children's hospitals across

    BURLINGTON, ON, Aug. 9 /CNW/ - This week has been one of the warmest in
recent memory. Dairy Queen's Miracle Treat Day today, Thursday, August 9, will
help cool things down with proceeds from Blizzards sold going to local
children's hospitals.
    During Miracle Treat Day, participating Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill
locations will donate proceeds from every Blizzard sold to Children's Miracle
Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives
of children by raising funds for 14 Canadian children's hospitals, and a total
of 170 children's hospitals across North America.
    John Hartman, Chief Operating Officer, Canada, Children's Miracle
Network, is available to speak about how buying a Blizzard today can impact
the lives of Canadian children in hospitals across Canada.
