Media Advisory: Schools take part in "World's Largest School Fire Drill" to raise public awareness of fire safety

    TORONTO, Oct. 11 /CNW/ -

    What:        In connection with this year's Fire Prevention Week theme
                 "Practise Your Escape Plan," the Fire Marshal's Public Fire
                 Safety Council, in partnership with the Ontario Association
                 of Fire Chiefs and the Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention
                 Officers Association, is challenging school principals
                 across the province to conduct one of their provincially
                 mandated fire drills between 10am and 3pm on October 11.
                 This is Ontario's third annual province-wide fire drill.

                 Fire Prevention Week runs from October 7-13.

    When:        October 11, 2007, between 10am and 3pm

    Where:       Participating schools throughout Ontario
