Media advisory: Raptors Bosh and Parker host Read to Achieve event at Air Canada Centre

    WHAT:    Raptors players Chris Bosh and Anthony Parker will host 60
             Grade Six students from Toronto's Highcastle Public School to
             promote reading and help them develop their basketball skills
             as part of the Raptors Read to Achieve program presented by

             In celebration and recognition of Black History month, Bosh and
             Parker will read Elijah of Buxton with the students.

             Raptors Read to Achieve presented by Danone is a program that
             promotes the value of reading and online literacy. Since its
             inception, the program has encouraged close to 90,000 students
             of all ages to develop a love of reading through a variety of
             player visits, contests and the creation of Reading and
             Learning corners and centres across the city.
