CALGARY, Sept. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - Canada's Paralympic athletes will
officially open a new exhibit celebrating the Paralympic Movement in Canada in
the Calgary Olympic Development Association's (CODA) Olympic Hall of Fame and
Museum at Canada Olympic Park on Monday, September 10 at 1 p.m.
The exhibit is a tribute to the athletes and builders who have been
inducted into the Canadian Paralympic Hall of Fame. The exhibit salutes and
honours the individuals who have made a significant contribution to the growth
and development of the Paralympic Movement in the country.
Following the official opening, Dr. Robert Steadward, founding president
of the International Paralympic Committee and first inductee into the Canadian
Paralympic Hall of Fame, will also announce the 2007 inductee.
