Media Advisory: FPAC President to Present at GLOBE 2008 Conference in Vancouver

    OTTAWA, March 11 /CNW Telbec/ - Avrim Lazar, President and Chief
Executive of the Forest Products Association of Canada, will present at a
panel Thursday morning at the GLOBE 2008 Conference. He will discuss the
forest sector's role to date in fighting climate change - which includes its
landmark pledge to become carbon neutral throughout the value chain by 2015,
without the purchase of offsets. Mr. Lazar will also explain why all
stakeholders need to embrace a new, novel approach in dealing with one of the
planet's great challenges.
