    Women's Executive Network (WXN)(TM) announces nominations are now open
    for 2009 Top 100 Awards

    TORONTO, April 15 /CNW/ - At a special luncheon on diversity, the Women's
Executive Network announced the opening of nominations for the 2009 Canada's
Most Powerful Women: Top 100(TM) Awards.
    Now in its seventh year, the Top 100 Awards continue to attract and
honour a broad range of women leaders in the private, public and
not-for-profit sectors. For the first time, this year nominations in all eight
categories are open to the public, allowing organizations and individuals to
shine a national spotlight on female leaders from all sectors.
    To date, over 400 women across Canada have received the Award and 53
women have been inducted into the Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Hall
of Fame.

    Nominations Deadline: June 30, 2009

    Winners will be announced in The Globe and Mail November 30 Report on Top
100 Women and celebrated at a Gala Awards Dinner in Toronto that evening.
