TORONTO, April 11 /CNW/ - On Thursday, April 12, 2007 Whirlpool(R) Home
Appliances will open the bidding on three "Dream Laundry Rooms", with auction
proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity.
Whirlpool Canada commissioned three leading Canadian design firms to
create the laundry rooms, providing them with a $10,000 budget, the new
Whirlpool(R) Duet(R) laundry pair and the new Whirlpool(R) Laundry
"1-2-3 (TM)" Custom Laundry Options.
The finished rooms will be displayed at the National Home Show from April
13 to 22, 2007. Canadians across the country can also visit
www.whirlpool.ca/dreamlaundry before June 15, 2007 to bid on having the
laundry room of their choice adapted into their home. All proceeds from this
auction will benefit Habitat for Humanity Canada.
