TORONTO, April 24 /CNW/ - This year's Team Challenge at the Canada Life
CN Tower Climb for WWF-Canada will be the biggest one yet! Many companies,
like Canada Life and FedEx, have entered numerous teams to do their part to
help fight global warming and to encourage team building among their
employees. Other teams have entered simply as a great way to have fun with
friends and support WWF-Canada.
Who: More than 400 teams of four will tackle the tower.
Interviews will be permitted with climb participants and
Mike Russill, President and CEO of WWF-Canada.
What: The 17th Annual Canada Life CN Tower Climb for WWF-Canada
Where: CN Tower (301 Front Street West, Toronto)
Media - please check in at the media table located just inside
the entrance of the CN Tower. WWF-Canada staff will be on-hand
to help you get the right shot.
When: Thursday, April 26, 2007
5:30 p.m. - 8:00 pm Ribbon Cutting 6:00 p.m.
Why: This is one of the few chances to climb the world's tallest
building. You can challenge yourself and have fun with your
friends and co-workers while supporting the conservation work
of WWF-Canada. We are well on our way to reaching this year's
goal of $900,000 to help fight global warming - the biggest
environmental threat to our planet.
If you miss the Team Challenge, you can still climb on Saturday, April
28th at the Public Climb from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. For more information,
